WHO we
are?
Dimuthu Foundation
is a NGO (non profit organization), founded
in 2000. It is a Government registered charitable foundation
in Sri Lanka.
Dimuthu Foundation focuses on children because
they are the most valuable investment of the future. When children
are fed, sheltered, protected, schooled, directed on the good
path, valued, and loved, a community flourishes. It is acknowledged
that the child is the most vulnerable victim of poverty and
under-development. We also recognize that children's development
is tied inextricably to that of their families and communities.
Our child-focused programmes work in children’s education
and health, water and sanitation, nutrition and food security,
rights and protection, gender balance and equality, peace-building
and micro-enterprise development.

is for children. we also envisage the formation of their
